Done for the Tokimeki Romance Flyer 2008

it took me two days to finish and I really wanted to do something special for that "event". I never worked that long on only one illustration and it was the first time I did water with acrylics (in that way) and six hours before scanning deadline I was like "Oh noes, no way this gonna be finished!!"

The original painting was a gift to my publisher. I am still thankful that I got the opportunity to pulish Kulla at Tokyopop. A children´s book at a comic publisher still is a challenge and I am glad we made it that far.

Original size: 40x50 cm on eco linen canvas with acrylics and retouch brushes in dry-brush and sponge technique (for those who wonder).

Haha, I've had this mini-poster hanging on the wall next to my desk for years now (well, actually since this tokimeki-flyer came out), and I still love to look at it. You really are a great artist!
