Another Illustration from the first Kulla book (I started to write the second story and am quite unhappy about everything) where Kulla gets company on itīs way home.... fairies and glow-worms light itīs way.

This is my personal favourite illustration of all those I ever did (and I did a lot -_- ). I needed almost 8 hours to finish, trying to create a better wood and perfct colors and so on. I think I spended more time on details than on Kulla O__o

:star: since I move and make a next step in my live I will sell the original canvas illustration :star:

format 30x30 cm on english canvas... itīs pretty heavy ^^;

For those who are interested in getting a part of the first childbook I ever wrote, illustrated and put my sweat and blood (only literally) in, feel free to send me a note.

fitting musik might be the secret garden soundtrack.

You're right, it's beautifully detailed!
I love the sky showing abong the leaves and the light of the little fairies and ..glow-worms?! :D

ok, itīs firefly... >_< ... or lightening bug... but glowing worms are glowworms... real moonfishes look different as well. Let me abuse the english language for childish fantasy :boogie:

It's magical ... And unbelievably cute.

glow-worms? is there an expression like that in English? I thought, they were fireflies :)
