www.trenchmaker.com (the actual page... like.. always)
OLDDD ... but I thought: Hey, somebody might see that those things cast zero shadows... so better excuse BEFORE it starts XD
My background image for my homepage. It turned out quite boring this time but I really wanted a clean design with no extra perks (except my ants are still missing... ants, not aunts).
One thing even my web-guru Maike complained is that my commission part is nearly empty. My "problem" is that I've been working on book projects for the last couple of years and if I've shown every single image of those the site would be stuck in hundreds of acrylic illustrations.
The background is a tweaked version of the forest where my Kulla bunny lives and represents my favourite style: Oldschool fairytale with 10% real world (that excludes all forgotten shadows)...

(who's gonna update the page soon again since I am stuck in so many commissions that I feel like a superhero ). PS. for those who cry: I want a pretty homepage in flash as well... Maike's contact data are in the impress.
lol didnt notice that no shadows where cast until you said lol i like this i would have added an underground section for a footer though just an idea THUMBS UP
I really loved your background image, that was very lovely drawing!! But, I have to say something about this one! Though the background is brilliant, it isn't full screen! Maybe you could use a higher resolution background to cover the whole background and the site would be flawless, believe me!! You have such wonderful illustrations that the site can be a real beauty with brains (usable and minimal as per your wish). Also, I really suggest you to switch back to html/css instead of flash!! All those features used in your site can be done with html/css and javascripts (even better if i say) no offence meant, but your site can be lot better given that you have a lot of valuable assets (like you illustration of yourself in about page)
