*OLD ENTRY*
apparently the game won.
The Nintendo DSi sucks when it comes to usability...
My biggest question- also because i need that for my job... don't ask =_= - is how on earth I can save images i made on SD card.
This IS possible so why on earth doesn't it work????
I can save - actually only in the normal in-programm gallery.
At that point i feel pretty stupid. I bet I'm just too old for it. _._ really....
Anybody an idea what is wrong?
PS. it's not a downloaded but the card version.
Anne -who's a noob atm-
*CORRECTED VERSION*
Nintendo does not suck. The developers do though. How can you make two game versions and save the crappier one for retail. Arggg.... so as it is the DSI is good (as good as it can be for a game console which means it's not a graphic tablet after all).
The AA is sold in two versions: The card version (AA) and download version as DSiware.
First of all: AA is good. I have no idea if anybody cares but for beginners it's good. You won't turn into DaVinci with it but it's perfect for the train, couch and still entertains while somebody tries to squeeze information into your head.
And you have "information, practice, information, practice" which I think is really good. If you ever had an art hour with only theory you know what I mean.
So.. I'll wait for magic help from Nintendo to get the bloody ware-version and inbetween I'll keep on working on a table top game and a book-cover and complain how awful my job is though I love it.
If you want to make some "aww" and "ohhs" go visit my Studio buddies

and

btw... o_o
I went in and doodled, ended up with a petty good looking bird! It is a nice program, though I guess resolution on the image will be tiny on a computer.
I haven't tried sending to SD card to get it on computer though. Hoped it was possible =/
oh it gives a lot of room for creativity.... though i got so bored through the first lessons (those are for basic beginners) that I doodled and doodled and didn't stop. IT's fun and it's good but I guess you have to keep in mind to get the dsi and buy the AA online. Looks like it's cheaper anyway and you can save the images.
The palette is nice and simple and though i doubted the sketching pencil this one is simply great for doodling on the road.
and i normally wouldn't cheer for nintendo after they send me the AA card version but the programm is too good to be really mad about it.
I guess the dsiware can be downloaded via store, right?

demnach scheint es mit der "normalen" version ja nicht zu gehen o___O sondern nur mit einem "Addon"
